About me

I'm a PhD student studying multi-stakeholder dynamics in carbon governance at Concordia University in beautiful, bilingual Montreal!

My degree is co-supervised between the Department of Geography, Planning & Environment and the Department of Business Management. I hold a bachelors in geography from University of Waterloo, and two post-grad diplomas from the University of Toronto; one in data analytics, and one in climate change policy and practice.

Having grown up on a farm in deep rural Ontario, my passion for socio-ecological governance has a special root in the rural / urban divide, Indigenous sovereignty, and community action.
On my spare time- I'm a major bookworm and hiker. I enjoy getting involved in local activism campaigns and mutual aid projects, and I can often be found with a latte and my dog, Kelso.

👩🏼‍🎓 PhD in Geography, Urban & Environmental Studies

Concordia University (September 2024 - Present)
My degree is co-supervised between the Department of Geography, Planning & Environment and the Department of Business Management. My two supervisors, Adriane MacDonald and Alexandra Lesnikowski, are guiding my research in the governance of carbon mitigation with an emphasis on urban experiments such as living labs.
I began my research here as a Master of Science student in September 2024, and fast-tracked directly into the PhD program in September 2025 to tackle bigger questions.
I'm honoured to be a part of a vibrant research community at Concordia, working with several groups, including the Concordia Climate Change Adaptation Lab, Carbon Governance Living Lab, and the Electrifying Concordia Living Lab.
